Australia’s leading air conditioning and gas heating manufacturer, Seeley International, has relocated to larger premises in Melbourne as increased sales demand drives company growth.
The new office, located at Scorseby, will be officially opened on Thursday, August 25 by the former Governor of South Australia, Sir Eric Neal AC CVO.
Seeley International Founder and Chairman, Frank Seeley AM, said that while the company’s head office was at its Adelaide factory, Victoria was a major market for the company, with a number of key staff based in Melbourne.
“Our new facility at Scoresby includes a warehouse to better support our Victorian customers,” Frank said. “The premises will also house improved training facilities for installers and service agents.
“Our products have the reputation of being the best on the market, so it’s important to back that up with having the best installers and service agents,” Frank said.
“Much of our growth has been driven by strong sales in both Melbourne and regional Victoria, so the relationships we have here are extremely important to us.”
The official opening of the new office will be attended by company owners Frank and Kathy Seeley, Sir Eric Neal and Lady Joan Neal, Seeley International directors and staff, as well as key customers and business partners.
The first company to develop and manufacture all-plastic evaporative air conditioners, Seeley International is the current Australian First Generation Family Business of the Year.
It recently won an Australian Design Award for its innovative new cooling product, Climate Wizard, which delivers very cold air using up to 80% less power than refrigerated systems.
