Seeley International has announced the appointment of Ian Robertson as General Manager Sales and Marketing to drive its expansion activity across its Australian and International commercial and residential markets.
Seeley International founder and Executive Chairman, Mr Frank Seeley AM said Mr Robertson would play a pivotal role in building on the strong reputation of Australia’s largest air conditioning manufacturer and growing market share across its entire product range – including Breezair, Braemar,
Convair and the multi-award-winning Climate Wizard.
“Seeley International is entering an exciting phase of its development and Ian comes to the role with significant industry experience, having previously worked in senior roles with Daikin and LG,” Mr Seeley said.
“Ian brings a strong understanding of the strategic challenges and opportunities facing our industry and his business development skills and marketing experience will greatly benefit Seeley International as it continues its exciting journey of global growth,” he said.
Mr Robertson began working with Daikin in 1984, and his Management career began in 1991, when he was appointed Manager of VRV Engineering and Sales. He then became NSW Sales Manager and National Commercial Manager, before taking on a senior overseas posting as Manager Sales and Marketing (ASEAN and Oceania) based in Singapore.
Mr Robertson was subsequently selected by Japan for a Global Sales Development role, ultimately becoming Director of Business Development for North America, based in New York City. His most recent role was General Manager – Air Conditioning and Energy Solutions at LG Electronics Australia.
